Ajay Devgn credits his viral dance move to Prabhudeva

Action star Ajay Devgn’s one dance moves from the song 'Bas Teri Dhoom Dhaam' from the film Action Jackson has recently caught the internet's attention. The actor reacted to the viral meme in a recent interview and said that all credit goes to his director and choreographer Prabhudeva.

Speaking to YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, Ajay laughed when the clip from the song was played for him.

"Ajay said in Hindi, "Iss film ka director tha Prabhudeva. Toh jab gaane aaye toh main bola Prabhu tu khud choreographer hai, main nahi karunga. Toh usne wo ungli kar di (This film's director was Prabhudeva. So, when the songs came. I told him, 'You are a dancer, I am not. I will not be doing those dance moves.' So he made me do this step)."

Director Rohit Shetty, who was also present at the time, interjected, adding, "During Ajay's time, there was no pressure to prove oneself in terms of dancing. Today people have that pressure. It is all made up. If one cannot dance, so be it."

On the work front, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are riding a wave of success after their latest release, Singham Again. The film was released this Diwali alongside Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The actor-director has also announced Golmaal 5, which will go on floors soon.
