Sushmita Sen's 'Ex-Bhabhi' Charu Asopa left Mumbai, moved to Bikaner 

Sushmita Sen’s sister-in-law and actor Charu Asopa has relocated from Mumbai to her hometown in Bikaner, Rajasthan, with her daughter, Ziana. This move was driven by the high cost of living in Mumbai.  The actor shared a slew of pictures with her daughter while traveling on a train. She captioned it, “New chapter begins (sic).”

Previously, a video of Charu selling salwar kameez and sarees online surfaced on social media, prompting mixed reactions. While many extended support, others questioned her financial condition. commenting, “Sushmita Sen ki ex-bhabhi online suit bech kar kar rahi hai guzara."

Charu has now confirmed to an English daily that she’s indeed selling clothes online. “I have shifted to my hometown Bikaner, Rajasthan. I have left Mumbai, and currently living with my parents. It’s been more than a month since Ziana and I moved here," she said.

Opening up about the move, Charu shared, “Living in Mumbai is not easy; it costs money. For me, the monthly living cost came up to Rs 1 lakh -1.5 lakh, including the rent and everything, which was not easy. Furthermore, I would rather not leave Ziana alone with a nanny when I am shooting in Naigaon (Mumbai). It used to get extremely difficult. Moving back home and starting my own thing was completely planned; it wasn’t a rushed decision."

The 'Mere Angne Mein' actor further discussed her financial condition and responded to trolls questioning her choice of business. "When you start something new, everyone struggles. What's different in my case? I am doing everything on my own, from taking orders to sending packages to getting stock. When I came to Mumbai for acting that wasn't easy too. I struggled to build a name for myself and I managed. Now, I have started this business so that I can focus on my child, and I don't think that's wrong," she added.

Asopa further shared that she is planning to buy a house in Bikaner and will stay at her parents' house with her daughter in the meantime.

After marrying in 2019, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen welcomed a child, a daughter named Ziana, in 2021. After that, the couple made headlines for their turbulent relationship and eventual divorce. Asked, how Rajeev reacted to her move, she said, “He can always come to visit his daughter in Bikaner. Before leaving Mumbai, I dropped a text informing him about my plans."
