Malaika Arora Hints At Second Marriage

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan got married in 1998. The couple announced their separation in 2016 and finalised their divorce in 2017. While Arbaaz Khan is remarried to Sshura Khan, a second marriage is on the cards for Malaika as well. In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Malaika mentioned that she is not closed off to the idea of another marriage.

During a candid conversation, Malaika was asked to give advice to her younger self. She said, “I would have said, ‘Take your time to get married.’ I would have told my younger self that, definitely. It is (a huge commitment) and ladkiyaan pata nahi kya… itni jaldi shaadi karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Thoda bohot kaam karlo, thoda understand karlo life ki journey and then take that plunge- which I was… very young when I got married."

When asked if she would like to get married again, Malaika said, “Never say never. Like I said, I’m a hardcore romantic. I believe in love. I believe in all things about love. So, never say never." Malaika’s comment has left fans gushing, and they are wondering if love is on the cards again for Malaika after her breakup with Arjun Kapoor.

Last year, Arjun Kapoor confirmed that he and Malaika had called it quits after nearly six years of dating. During a promotional event for Singham Again, Arjun Kapoor addressed his relationship status, revealing that he was single. In a viral video from the event, he was seen telling the crowd, “Abhi single hoon main, relax."

While neither Malaika nor Arjun had publicly discussed the breakup before, rumours of their split had been circulating for months, with sources suggesting they had “run their course" as a couple but would continue to respect each other’s privacy. A month after Arjun’s remark, Malaika Arora shared a post on Instagram that read, “My status right now: in a relationship, single, hehehe." The “hehehe" option was selected from the drop-down options.

Malaika Arora hasn’t been linked to anyone since her breakup. The Bollywood star had a tough time last year. She not only experienced romantic heartbreak but also lost her father. Meanwhile, her ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, tied the knot with Sshura Khan in 2023, and the couple is expecting their first child together.
