In Jaipur also life is badly disrupted due to continuous rain since last Saturday. Water entered low-lying areas leading to house collapses and traffic jams in Ghat Gate, MI Road, Ghat ki Guni, Sanganer, PRN, and other areas.
The Meteorological Centre in Jaipur alerted for heavy rains in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, and Bharatpur regions for five more days.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma held a meeting of officials to discuss safety measures amid heavy rains in the state. "Safety of all citizens of Rajasthan - our top priority. Today, a meeting of the officials was held in the Chief Minister's Office regarding the heavy rains in the state, and necessary guidelines were given to strengthen all the arrangements related to disaster management immediately," Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma posted on X.
