Congress on Wednesday took a veiled dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's alleged ties with business tycoon Gautam Adani on his birthday. Using the viral hashtag #MyModiStory on PM Modi's birthday, the Congress created an AI-generated video of a figure resembling Adani, speaking in Hindi with a thick Gujarati accent, claiming that he was given everything—from lands to tenders to deals.
Congress’s veiled jibe came on a day when another AI-generated video released by the party — depicting PM Modi and his mother — drew sharp criticism from the Patna High Court, which ordered its removal from social media.
The AI-generated character with eerie resemblance to Adani is heard saying in the video, "Narendra Modi has been a very loyal supporter of mine. It has never happened that Modi has opposed my orders. Whatever I asked for—factories, lands, tenders, deals—Modi got it done in my name. This is my Modi story."
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi wished Prime Minister Modi on his birthday with a one-line tweet, reading, "Wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji a happy birthday and good health." #MyModiStory is trending on PM Modi's 75th birthday, with political leaders and celebrities sharing their views on him as a leader.
