Deepika Padukone finally joins Allu Arjun for Atlee's Film  

Deepika Padukone has officially teamed up with actor Allu Arjun for director Atlee’s highly anticipated film, currently titled 'AA22xA6'. The announcement was made today, June 7, confirming Padukone as the female lead opposite the 'Pushpa' actor.

The makers of the film dropped a video welcoming Deepika Padukone on board. The video began with the actress discussing the script with Atlee before they got on the set and started preparing for the movie. From the video, it looks clear that Deepika Padukone will be unleashing her action avatar in AA22xA6. In the caption of the clip, the makers described Deepika as a “queen" who is ready to “conquer".

The upcoming film will mark Padukone's second collaboration with Atlee after 'Jawan' and her first with Allu Arjun. Filming is scheduled to begin later this year, with more details about the cast, crew, and release date to be revealed soon.

Interestingly, this comes weeks after Sandeep Reddy Vanga removed Deepika Padukone from Prabhas starrer Spirit. Reports suggest that her demands, including eight-hour workdays, a high salary, and a share in the film’s profits, did not sit well with director Vanga. Deepika, a new mother, is reportedly seeking to balance her work and personal life by reducing her working hours.

Besides Spirit, it is also being said that Deepika Padukone might be removed from Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2. However, since Deepika is “hellbent" on her working conditions, it turns out to be a “big headache" to the makers. Reportedly, she is not willing to adjust her work schedule or other aspects related to her dates. It is for this reason that Nag Ashwin is planning to replace her in the movie. However, there is no official confirmation of this as of now.
