A large fire that started in a firecracker factory in the Madhya Pradesh town of Harda on Tuesday resulted in ten fatalities and over 200 injuries. "We have 65 injured admitted here, and have referred 10 others to a bigger hospital," stated the officer.

According to an official, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav spoke with the relevant officials and asked for more information on the occurrence.
Additionally, the CM ordered Director General Home Guard Arvind Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Ajit Kesari, and Minister Uday Pratap Singh to fly by helicopter to Harda. According to the official, burn units at the AIIMS in the state capital, hospitals in Bhopal, and Indore have been instructed to make the appropriate preparations for any emergency.
