It was a very disappointing Sunday for Indian cricket lovers. In Australia Team India was badly defeated in the ‘pink ball’ day-night second test of Border-Gaveskar Trophy series in Adelaide. While in Brisbane, the Indian Women's Team lost the second ODI against a formidable host by huge margin. In Dubai, Indian juniors failed to clinch the U-19 Asia Cup title.
After a harrowing defeat in the Perth Test, Australia bounced back to maintain their 100 percent record in pink-ball Tests at the Adelaide Oval, beating India by 10 wickets. India put in a disappointing display, especially with the bat, scoring just 180 and 175 in the two innings of the day-night Test. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rishabh Pant were the only two batters to put in some sort of a fight while veterans like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, failed to inspire. Even experienced spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, brought into the team in place of Washington Sundar, had a disappointing outing.
Indian Women Faltered

India were outplayed by a stellar batting performance from Australia, who went onto score 371 runs in the first innings of the match.
