Preity Zinta On Hiding Kids’ Faces:  “Let Them Enjoy Childhood”

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta recently shared pictures from her fun-filled Holi 2025 celebration with her hubby Gene Goodenough, and their kids Gia and Jai. The actress, who hasn’t yet revealed her children’s faces on social media, chose to hide their faces with emojis this time as well. While fans gushed over the happy and cheerful pictures from Holi, one netizen questioned why she chose to cover Jai and Gia’s faces. The actress responded to the comment, explaining that while she is in the entertainment business, her children are not. She added that she wants them to enjoy a normal childhood, away from the public eye.

Preity Zinta shared the Holi pictures along with a caption that read, “रंग बरसे  Holi was incredibly special this year cuz we got to celebrate with the kids  Here is a sneak peek #Happyholi #weekend #holi2025 #ting." In the post, a netizen wrote, “Why hide kids faces ??" The actress politely responded to the social media user, and wrote, “I’m in the entertainment business not my kids so I’m letting them grow up normal & enjoy their childhood till I can manage uske baad Rab Rakha." Her response was met with support from her fans. One fan wrote, “Good decision ma’am," while another one commented, “True let them enjoy their childhood."

Preity Zinta is not the only actress who shields their children from public scrutiny and spotlight. Bollywood celebrities such as Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and many others have been firm about their stance on protecting their privacy, and keeping their kids away from the public eye.

They are all smiles as they posed together, covered in gulaal. The next photo shows them posing with their children. Other photos show fun-filled moments with their loved ones.

Preity Zinta married her American partner Gene Goodenough in 2016. The actress moved to Los Angeles after her marriage, however, she frequently visits India. In 2021, they became parents to twins Gia and Jai, through surrogacy.
