Wrestler Sushil Kumar gets bail in murder case

Olympic wrestler Sushil Kumar got bail from the Delhi High Court in a murder case. He was released after providing a Rs 50,000 bond and two sureties of the same amount.

A Bench, headed by Justice Sanjiv Narula, granted bail to Kumar, who is the main accused in the death of a junior wrestler, 23-year-old Sagar Dhankar, in May 2021.

The two-time Olympic medallist was charged with murder, along with rioting, unlawful assembly, and criminal conspiracy, Dhankar died after being attacked by Kumar and associates.
