Actor Aamir Khan recently expressed his long-held ambition to make Mahabharata. At the recent ABP conference, Aamir shared his dream and also said that children-related content is what excites him the most.
The Laal Singh Chadha actor stated, “It is my dream to make Mahabharata, so maybe now I'll be able to think of that dream. Let’s see if I’ll have a role in it to play.”
Khan also highlighted his interest in children's content, saying, “I believe in India we make lesser children-related content. Usually, we import that from abroad, dub it here, and release it. I want to make stories about children.” He noted that as an actor, he prefers doing one film at a time but aims to take on more projects as a producer.
Aamir added, next month I’ll turn 60, and for the next 10 to 15 years I want to do more work and give opportunities to newer talent." He also spoke about Laapataa Ladies and how the film featured so many newcomers such as Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, and Sparsh Shrivastava. Directed by Kiran Rao, Laapataa Ladies was bankrolled by Aamir Khan under his production banner.
