Congress MLA "Arjun Modhwadia" Resigns from Party
Arjun Modhwadia resigns

After resigning from the Congress, Arjun Modhwadia stated, "When a party loses its connection with the people, it cannot survive for long."

The people of the land desired the Ram Temple to be built. The Congress had also resolved that we would support it if the Supreme Court issued a constitutional verdict. Even still, the invitation to Pran Pratishtha was denied. I also expressed concern that this would harm public sentiment and that we should avoid making such political judgments, which demonstrated a lack of connection with the people. I attempted to convey my message in a variety of other ways, but I was unsuccessful. Finally, I have chosen to resign today..."
