Deepika, Ranveer announce pregnancy, Baby due in September

Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child. They announced her pregnancy today. According to reports, Deepika is said to be in her second trimester. Her delivery is due in September 2024.

Deepika and Ranveer shared a simple post with the due date -September 2024- and baby-related icons. No caption was needed except a string of emojis. The comments thread on Deepika's post exploded instantly. Priyanka Chopra, who co-starred with the couple in Bajirao Mastani and worked with Ranveer Singh in Dil Dhadakne Do and Gunday, wrote, "Mubarak" along with a heart emoji. Deepika's Chhapaak co-star Vikrant Massey wrote, "Bahut bahut shubhkamnaen." Sonakshi Sinha wrote, "Your best production yet." "Congratulations," wrote Kriti Sanon and Sonam Kapoor. Varun Dhawan shared a series of hearts. "Welcome to the best hood ever," wrote mom-of-two Neha Dhupia.

Earlier, there were speculations circulating that Deepika Padukone might be pregnant. These rumours stemmed from observations that she reportedly hid her baby bump while wearing a glittering saree at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA). Deepika Padukone was adorned in a couture saree and custom jewellery designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela'. They dated for five years before getting married in November 2018.
