Kamal Haasan Gets Angry As Man Gifts Him Sword 

During a political meeting held by Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, party chief and actor Kamal Haasan sternly rebuked a man who tried to present him with a sword on stage. The party meeting in Chennai took place, just days after Haasan’s unopposed election to the Rajya Sabha from Tamil Nadu. Kamal Haasan lost his cool at the man who urged him to pose with the sword, and a cop intervened and brought the situation under control.

Several supporters approached Kamal Haasan on stage for photographs during the public event, and one individual tried to persuade him to pose with a sword. Initially, Haasan smiled and shook his head as he held the sheathed sword. However, when the person continued to insist and tried to untie the knot securing the sword, Haasan lost his cool and angrily instructed the man to put the sword down. Haasan, visibly irritated, sharply addressed the individual and his companions. Meanwhile, a police officer quickly intervened, securing the sword. Despite the tension, Haasan eventually gestured for the group to move along and managed a brief smile before continuing the event.

The video clip of the incident sparked online discussions, with many commending Haasan for upholding his principles. Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan was recently at the centre of a controversy in Karnataka over his comment on the Kannada language. A few days ago, at the audio launch of his film Thug Life, Haasan stated that Kannada originated from Tamil, triggering outrage across Karnataka.
