UPI Launch in UAE, India to become 3rd largest economy
At the 'Ahlan Modi' event in Abu Dhabi, PM Modi says, "I have come to meet my family members. I have brought the fragrance of the soil where you were born and have brought the message of 140 crore people." He further says that India will become 3rd largest economy in 3rd term.
The Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT), which was signed by India and the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, will be a crucial tool for advancing investment in both nations. The signing of the BIT was observed by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
India's Ministry of External Affairs stated in a statement that "this agreement will be a key enabler for further promoting investments in both countries." The announcement further stated that India and the UAE had inked a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and a Bilateral Investment Treaty.

When I initially arrived in the United Arab Emirates in 2015 for a diplomatic visit, Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met me at the airport as I was still getting used to the idea of diplomacy. The Prime Minister thanked President Al Nahyan and stated, "Today, on my seventh visit to the United Arab Emirates, the same prince, now President, came to receive me with the same enthusiasm."
"The UAE and India are collaborators in each other's development. Our partnership is built on ability, culture, and advancement. The UAE is currently India's third-biggest trading partner. As the seventh-largest investor, it is. In order to make living and conducting business easier, both of our nations are working together," Modi stated.
