Accommodate My Daughter-Landlady Requests

Sachin, a final year MBBS student, was kind of taken aback when his landlady had a strange request for him.
Sachin shared his experience on X and asked for the internet’s help regarding the matter. Without any doubt, it sparked many conversations. Residing in a three-bedroom flat in the National Capital Region along with two other men, Sachin was approached by his landlady with an unusual request that her daughter, who is preparing for her NEET exam, stay in a separate room within their shared flat.
“She is not that good in at studies and her physics is also very weak so she will take admission in our college (Private). She will live with me. What should I do? Should I ask her (landlady) to decrease my rent?” reads the caption. The landlady's daughter, described as not being particularly strong academically, especially in physics, aims to gain admission to the same college Sachin attends.
This situation has led to a flurry of reactions from people, with many advising caution. Some commenters suggested that Sachin negotiate a reduction in rent as compensation for the added complexity of accommodating the landlady's daughter.
