Boxer Vijender Singh Switches From Congress To BJP

Boxer and Congress leader Vijender Singh joined the BJP on Wednesday ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The 38-year-old Olympic medallist had joined the Congress in 2019. He had contested as a Congress candidate from the South Delhi constituency. But losing out to the incumbent BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri.

This time congress was planning to field Vijendra Singh against BJP leader and renowned actress Hema Malini from Mathura. The actress is a sitting MP from this holy city. But before things move on, Vijendra gives a big jolt to Congress by joining BJP.
