A lot of railway stations are being built inline with airports. The new stations will feature multi-story parking, a shopping complex, retiring rooms, and distinct areas for arrivals and departures. If there are two entry at the station, new facilities will be available at both sides. A sizable fund has been set aside by the Indian Railways for railway station upgrades.

Nearly all Zonal Railways are building stations within their own zones.About 20 stations are also being developed by the South Central Railway; the initial phase of these stations include Secunderabad, Begumpet, Nellore, and Tirupati. If railroad stations start to be referred to as "rail ports," this should come as no surprise.

There is significant development going on at the Secunderabad station. The anticipated cost of the station's refurbishment is Rs 700 crore. Commencing in November 2022, the project is expected to be finished by October 2025. "The new building of Secunderabad has been well designed for the next 60 years and will be an iconic station building," states Bhartesh Kumar Jain, DRM. We offer completely covered tracks and platforms, as well as clutter-free platforms with better surfaces.  The 1,65,566 square meter new station building is being created.

Begumpet Station Proposed Design

Begumpet is a tiny station in Hyderabad as well, although it has grown in importance as a result of passenger traffic. The Amrit Station Scheme is also being used to enhance Begumpet. With its prime location in the twin cities, Begumpet station serves around 16,000 people every day.Important and quick trains from Pune and Mumbai stop at this station. The anticipated expenditure for Begumpet station's upgrade is Rs 26.55 crore.

The railway is focusing primarily on providing facilities for Divyang passengers. The current proposals will drastically alter the appearance and amenities at the stations, giving travelers a "feel good" experience.Stations are receiving a local touch in every way. Lord Vishnu's "Dashavatar" will be on exhibit at the Tirupati railway station, while a well-known artefact may be found at the Secunderabad railway station.
