Pakistan's former prime minister Nawaz Sharif claimed victory

PM Nawajj Sharif says their party will form the coalition government and they are already in talks with other parties.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of the PML-N made an early victory speech in which he declared, "I love you too... I can see the light and sparkle in your eyes today." The ECP has not yet announced all of the election results as of February 8. "We are all celebrating today as the PML-N has become the country's largest party in these elections," he asserted.

Nawaz emphasized that in order to rescue Pakistan from its current predicament, all political parties had to band together. He claimed to have instructed Shehbaz Sharif to approach Asif Ali Zardari of the PPP, Fazlur Rehman of the JUI-F, and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui of the MQM-P regarding the creation of a coalition government.
