Shocking Incident: Gangraped at Gunpoint in MP

In the Gwalior area of Madhya Pradesh, three men gangraped a fifteen-year-old girl at gunpoint in front of her parents. The event happened on Monday night in the Bhanwarpur area, but a complaint wasn't made until Wednesday, two days later.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rishikesh Meena was quoted by news agency PTI as adding that of the three suspects, one has been taken into custody by the police.

Another senior police official was reported as stating, "On Monday night, an incident occurred with a minor girl and her family in a village under Bhanwarpur police station limits in the district in which the minor was gang raped and her parents were assaulted."

The police have filed a case against the three accused under sections 323, 376, 376d, 458, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act based on the complaint lodged by the victim's parents.
